Booking and payment will be done through the NZ Photography Workshops site.
If you have a group of friends or colleagues who're interested in learning the basics of good photography, this workshop could be run on demand at a later date as a package deal for everyone. Please ask. The Introductory Creative Photography Workshop will cover:
Bring along your own digital SLR digital camera or mirrorless digital camera, and a tripod if you have one. Dress for outdoors. The plan is to meet at Photospace for a coffee and a run through setting up and understanding the main creative controls of your camera before going outside to put it all into practice. There will be a review session at the end of the workshop This is intended as something of a crash course in the basics of creative photography. For a more extensive and comprehensive course, Photocourse 1 is recommended. New Zealand Photography Workshops also run a range of more advanced outdoor photo workshops that you will enjoy, once you have the ability to use your camera functions to achieve full creative control. From that point on, you can enjoy making photographs turn out the way you envisage them, and follow your own visual creative pathway instead of just following others and taking look-alike photos. Please book early, as places on these workshops are quite limited. Booking form is above. |
