This part-time course, run from our studios in central Wellington, continues from Photocourse 1 & 2 and provides largely self-directed assignments and more technically challenging workshops. We will look further into the major themes of photography and help you to build on your photographic vision and enhance your creative use of camera and lighting techniques.
The aim of the course is for you to build a set of images suitable for a professional or artistic portfolio, and for a group exhibition, edited down from any or all of the course assignments.
You will need your own digital SLR camera or mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. Alternatively, you could do all or part of the course work on film if you wish. There is a darkroom available at a preferential hire rate is you want it.
We have divided Photocourse 3 into three creative areas:
There is a limit of 6 places available on this PC3 course.
