World Pinhole Photography Day workshop, Sunday 30th April 2017
The Workshop runs from 10.30am-4pm, on the last Sunday in April, annually. It's heaps of fun and requires no photographic knowledge!
Be among the first in the world to upload your favourite image to the World Pinhole Day exhibition website. This workshop is heaps of fun, creative and inspiring. As a complete contrast to photographing with your new whizzy-do digital camera, how about making your own camera and developing your own super wide angle photographs?
We will help you make your own pinhole camera out of a Pringles can(!), then go out onto the streets and make photos, which you can develop yourself in our darkroom. Later, we will scan your favourite photo and upload the image to the exhibition site.
No darkroom experience or other photographic knowledge is needed to enjoy the day's activities. This workshop is enjoyable for beginners and experienced photographers alike.
Note: the workshop is for adults, 16 (at least) and over. Sorry, but we can't cater for children, due to space, safety and physical restrictions in the darkroom.
This workshop makes an ideal gift for anyone with an interest in photography who wants to experiment and broaden their creative outlook. Gift vouchers available.
See www.pinholeday.org for our annual results. We have submitted photos every World Pinhole Day since the first one in 2001.
Workshop cost: $85.00 all inclusive. Book early!
All materials provided. Notes provided.
The workshop will run at Photospace, 1st floor, 37 Courtenay Place, Wellington.
