Darkroom 2 - Black & White Printing Weekend Workshop -Sept 2026

This weekend workshop is running in October, 2026.

Workshop fee: $395.00, including GST and all materials
A deposit of $125.00 will be required to confirm your place.
There are only 4 places available on the workshop.

This workshop will cover:

• Editing proof sheets
• Evaluating negatives
• Tonal and contrast control, burning and dodging
• Printing on resin-coated and fibre-based silver-gelatin papers.

This course is aimed at those who have completed one of our black and white film & darkroom courses, weekend workshops or who already have experience of darkroom basics.
 
The course will provide supervised time in the darkroom printing a number of your negatives, allowing you to explore things such as contrast control, burning and dodging and printing on different paper types, working towards the best possible black & white print.

If you haven't used a darkroom for a few years (or decades), this course will help you improve your darkroom knowledge and practical printing techniques. It is also suitable for those teaching photography as an art subject.
