Photography Courses

Part-time photography courses

We now offer a series of four courses ranging from beginner level to very advanced. It is possible to progress through all of them, from learning the basics of creative control of your camera to having your own solo gallery exhibition and/or to working as a professional photographer.

Our part-time courses run from six weeks to an entire year. They are social as well as practical, and we believe the real-world, small group learning environment is superior to online courses, and a lot more fun.

Photocourse NZ photography courses are run from Photospace, 1st floor, 37 Courtenay Place, Wellington, NZ, where we have a photographic studio, darkrooms, and Photospace Gallery - New Zealand's longest-running photographic art gallery
